Went to watch "Coming Soon" and "Race To Witch Mountain" back to back yesterday.


Nope I'm so not gonna put the picture for Coming Soon here. I was mortified by the movie lol. Damn it's been a long time since I got scared the shit out of myself. The movie was definitely scary except for the last part where I found out how the ghost kills. That part was a bit out of this world.

However, if you want to care to scare the crap outta yourself, I highly recommend you to watch this movie. Please watch it with someone lol, not alone. Me and my girl got totally freaked out when the cinema number in the movie and our cinema number coincided. GV staff really do do their homework. Overall, I give the movie a 4.0 stars out of 5.

"Race To Witch Mountain" is not only exciting but it has The Rock starring in it. Dwayne Johnson puts on a very convincing role as a cab driver and the two kids in the movie had really good acting skills. The story script was solid and the movie was never short of action.

I don't intend to release any spoilers here for both of the movies but I highly recommend you to watch it :)

Best Education System = No Improvement ?

One of the most prided joys of our government is having a top education system in the world. As a Singaporean, I'm proud of that too. However, a few recent issues have caught my eye and make me wonder if being at the cream of the crop have stifled our desire to improve.

Recently one NTU staff committed suicide and another student assaulted a lecturer there before plunging to his death. At the same time, some of my friends in local universities are also complaining about systems they use to teach in local universities. So is there really an underlining of trouble in our seemingly perfect education system?

A casual question asked to my friends and grievances poured out instantly. One of the top issues I realized are the lack of social interactions within the universities. Because lessons are so dispersed from one another, people have lesser opportunities to interact with one another. With the heavy load from their school work, students also have lesser time to meet up with their friends outside. Lesser social interactions may cause problems as students may become less confident and tend to keep problems to themselves.

Another problem I noticed was that lecturers don't seem to place much emphasis on their students. They come and deliver their lessons, and they go. No effort was made to connect with the students. Where were the good old days when the professor will swing by and ask you what is wrong when he noticed a troubled look on your face? It seems that lecturers these days are more preoccupied with delivering knowledge than fulfilling the full requirements of a teaching career. Teaching is more than delivering knowledge. Teaching is about caring and nurturing your students too.

A rising trend I obeserved about teachers in higher levels is the notion that students will take responsibility for their own learning. I respect that and comment their efforts to treat as as young adults. However, some teachers have brought this concept to a higher level. For example, there was this lecturer in a biology class and she was so frustrated with the class not paying attention and she quickly zoom through the lecture and gave a sarcastic comment saying "If you guys are not interested, then you might as well skip the lecture, I will not mark you as absent." I felt she had every right to be angry over this, however, she is a university professor for God's sake. Blowing your head over your class is not professional. Furthermore, there were a few attentive students in the class. Lowering the quality of your teaching because of a minority that are not interested in the class is just unfair for the rest.

An event that angered me even more was an experience that my friend had. Her lecturer was not free for the lesson that was supposed to be conducted next week. He suggested to postpone it to another day. However my friend was not free on that time slot as she had music class. The rest of the class could make it accept her. Instead of giving an alternative date or time, the lecturer simply said "So you are not coming right?" What is this? It totally sends the message that as long as it is the minority, it is ok. We can forget about them. It is totally immoral and not upright for the teacher to do so. Is that teacher trying to say that it's just one person so we can forget him or her? It is totally unfair to the student. When the teacher was saying that to my friend, the whole class was staring at her, waiting for her to say yes. This behaviour displayed by the lecturer was totally unacceptable. I wouldn't be surprised if students being taught by this teacher would discriminate miniorities in the future. This kind of behaviour are absorbed by the brain and performed subconciously as well.

Universities always claim that they care about their students and show that they care by organizing activities such as counselling and giving out scholarships to help poor pupils. However, they do not realize that this means that you are caring for your students. Caring for someone is at a more subtle level. Displaying notions that the students are not important would hurt the students and undermine their pride and confidence. I personally feel that if the people around were more caring, then the recent tragedies in NTU would not have happened. If lecturers were really teachers at heart, then students would have a more fun time in school.

So is our education system really the best already? I think we have alot more work to do...

Starry Day

Pam is a lucky star. Indeed she is. We won tickets to the Gala Premiere of "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li". Indeed when I mentioned this show to most of my friends, it raised many eyebrows. Worse of all, many confused the show with Dragonball Evolution (Singaporean kids truely don't have a childhood). Honestly, I was a little skeptical myself. I played Street Fighter arcade games since I was a kid and bringing out the character of Chun-Li isn't easy. Some view her as a fighter, some view her as a symbol of female strength. Some think she is a figure of justice, some think that she is a sex symbol. Nevertheless, bring the character Chun-Li to screen is not an easy task.

Pam came over to school in between my break for my classical modules and we had to head down to Mediacorp to collect our tickets. We took a train down to Braddel and wanted to walk there. But instead we ventured into an estate housing old people. And they had the weirdest of things there. The signs had algae growing all over it and there was a Mama shop at a multi-storey carpark -.- Being evil, the residents over there immediately reminded me of the zombies in Left 4 Dead. I mean seriously all the old people in one place? I just couldn't resist imagining.

After a endless tiring walk through the unfamiliar region, me and Pam gave up and just took a cab down. Going to Mediacorp was exciting. I thought I was never a fan of stars but alighting the cab over there made me feel a sense of excitement in the air. Who knows I might even meet Fiona Xie over there? Lol. Just kidding. But we did tidy ourselves up a little bit lol.

Anyway we didn't see any stars except for a dozen old aunties chit chatting at the reception. Apparently they must be waiting to view some old auntie cooking show or something. Nothing seems to be of interest as the place was with heavy security. We just collected our tickets and of we head back to school.

Pam was really nice. She waited for me at the school library for 3 hours!!! If only the classical teacher didn't take so long. We then proceeded to Dhoby Gaught as the movie was held at Cathay Cineplex. Pam is a big fan of Edmund Chen and was half hoping (more than half I think) to see him there as he plays the father of Chun-Li in the movie. We grabbed a bite at Just Acia before we got there.

The Grand Cathay is indeed grand. Red carpet, red curtains, nice music and even ushers to show you to your seat. We spotted many Mediacorp stars there like Jonathon Leong and a few others (don't know their names). After a while, Edmund Chen came in. Damn I was like wow. I've seen all his works on tv. It's just amazing to see him real life. After all the hoo hah, the movie reel started spinning.

I swore the movie attendant thought I was gonna capture the movie on my Iphone. Wth -.-

The whole movie was ok. I would say it's just average. Chun-Li was played by Kristin Kreuk. I was really skeptical of her ability at first. I mean yeah she's hot. But I thought she was more suited to a innocent and demure role. Boy was I wrong. This hot mama sure kick ass in the kung fu flick. Her acting skills were good. The only bad part was her Chinese. No offense but Chun-Li's half chinese. There is no way her Chinese is so bad. Edmund Chen displayed good acting skills. It was interesting to see him do Kung fu. Lol I didn't know he could fight.

Bison was not what I thought to be. We all know that Bison is big, strong and spot the infamous Shadaloo general costume. But instead Bison was a white business man in the movie. Hmm what was the director thinking?

Besides Bison, there was Maya and Charlie Nash. These two characters were really extra. They were really detached from the story. I guess the director was trying to bring some flirty and love element to the movie but it didn't work out well. They were not integrated well into the movie and they didn't even touch Bison. All the director featured for these two characters were the cheesy lines that came out from Nash's mouth and Maya's boobs. The way Bison died and then revived was also a little ridiculous. Lol I mean his neck was broken. No way he could come alive again.

See what I mean? All her scenes are only focused on her cleavage and nothing else. Poor Maya.

All in all, Kristin Kreuk was good. She was hot and her acting skills matured. All I can say that the story was very separated from one another and the transition between the scenes were not good. The director's skill was amateurish. Edmund's acting skills were great but the director didn't portray it. The camera angles for the fight scenes were all wrong and watching them can be sometimes confusing. Overall, I give the movie a 5/10.

After the movie, we got to shake hands and talk with Edmund Chen. He was damn friendly haha. Lol he said the movie was bad and he looked ugly in it. Lol damn humble. Me and Pam gave him some encouragement and said the movie was good. It was really not bad, it is just hard to meet the demands for something that has been with kids for decades. Shows like these always find it hard to succeed. We also saw Edmund's family and Xiang Yun! Awesome. I'm like a big fan of Xiang Yun and her shows. Too bad never take picture with her. But we got some shots with Edmund!

After the movie, I sent Pam home and the silly girl didn't want me to go. Lol so I spent a little more time with her and then cab back to Jurong east for the last train. What a starry day :)

PS: Damn I nearly missed last train at Jurong east cos somebody tried to commit suicide at Yio Chu Kang. Luckily SMRT efficient and that guy didn't die. Hope he's alright. Not gonna think more. Just want to think about my starry day :)

Seriously, this world is kinda fucked up. Yes hell yeah it is.

I lost my laptop but "THE UNAMED ONES" think they are on the side of justice.

Kindness is not repaid. My kindness was for nothing.

Friendship was tested, and money proved to be more powerful than friendship.

The people that I thought were responsible were the most irresponsible.

I only knew of my huge lost after 5 weeks. After 9 weeks, there is still no news of concrete compensation.

I'm the one suffering the loss of my dear companion, whereas the people who lost it live like it never happened.

My laptop was not only my companion. It had the photos of all my dear ones. All the photos of me and Pamela growing up FIVE YEARS together are gone. The photos of me and my friends are all gone too.

Can you imagine? All your precious memories all gone like that... I'm really sad about it. I can never retrieve it.

All my programs inside are all gone. All those programs, memories, projects and games are all gone. Some of my projects that I did consists of websites that could be used professionally. All the applications I downloaded are all gone. There were lots of sensitive information inside and there are all at risk now. Even Jov's game was inside and it was gone. I felt so bad that I apologized to him immediately. But him being my true friend didn't blame me. But UNNAMED on the other hand was not spotted apologizing to him. Another thing I cannot figure out why.

Guess what? They say they wanna give me a second hand laptop. And worse. My dear "friend" did not even say a word. Only one sorry. And worse. Only one sorry. Then that's it. And for your info: My laptop is worth more than $2K plus in the market. And those idiots wanna pay me less than $2K.

Dad was right. They will try to squeeze their way out of this. The people of the world are like that.

I will give them one more week. If I don't get what I want, I will sue them.

It's not about money anymore. It's about principles.

Not that I saying UNNAMED stole my laptop, but it's just an analogy. But there might be a possibility.

Hmm... I'm not gonna comment on their actions. But if this is truely justice, then perhaps the readers of the blog should voice out.

Sorry man, I feel this way and I will say it. I for once don't remain silent when things happen, unlike you.

You do realize that if you do something irresponsible, you will be marked with the bane of irresponsibility. Every single person you pass will look at you in that way. Even if they don't, in their hearts they secretly harbour that thought.

I didn't cause this. You cause it your self. I'm so angry with you. And it's not only about money.

Apologies now don't really mean a thing. Cos I don't sense the sincerity at all. If you truely treasure our friendship, you would have followed up with me and apologize. Apparently, some people can be just such cowards, afraid to face the music. Maybe the ignorant and young would behave this way. If it's only that it is understandable. But don't fucking fuck with me and start fucking negotiating. Please. Really. You are fucking in the wrong and don't try to negotiate and point fingers at me.

I think all that education is going to waste. Running away for so long and so afraid to face me. You know why is that? Cos deep down inside, you know you are wrong.

And by the way, you cause me so much problems each day. I fucking have to do my animation project and have absolutely no time to handle such stuff. And yet I get fucked at home everyday because of this. My parents nag and scold me all day cos of this. You have absolutely no idea, hiding behind that shell of yours.

I used to think you were the most responsible of my friends. But apparently, I was damn wrong. I never rant on my blog before, but hell yeah I'm gonna fucking rant today cos I can't take it anymore.

I always wanted to do great things. I always wanted to change the world.

I always move forward to a Destiny that shapes the future. I wanted the world to be a better place.

I tried to change and did everything. But after I achieved it, I knew I was wrong.

The only way to change the world is to change myself. If I wanted to change others, I have to start with myself. I was doing fine all along, until I decided others should change to fit the system.

Yes the world is not perfect, but still, I was a good man.

Reconciliation

Ok I'm not really a very religious man. But I still accompanied my bro to his very first Reconciliation and Confession. Lol its funny to see all the kids so excited.

We had about 100++ kids to be reconciled so haha imagine the wait. Fascinated Dad and Mum with my phone a while and before I knew it, it was over.

Halloween Party and more updates!

Gosh it's been a long time I blogged. Well with my busy list of schedule and learning, I guess it justifies the cause.

So many interesting things happened last week. We had a photoshoot by the school on Friday and darn it was good to be in a suit. Ok it was hot posing under the sun with a suit for about 20 minutes and the photographer was a bit gay. To make things worse, he was wearing an Abercrombie and Fitch T-shirt. Lol for those who watched the Mad-TV parody, you know why I nearly blurted out laughing the moment I saw him. Yeah braw! Lol.

Anyway the photoshoot was long but awesome cos I had a great bunch of friends I know taking the photos with me. It's great to know that the photos you take with your friends are gonna be used for something probably big. Lol. I'm sorry we threw you on the ground after the last pic Jiafeng lol haha but you were too heavy. And Serbian was damn funny. During the hand shaking shot, for some reason the photographer didn't see eye to eye to our expressions. He kept saying "more emotions or expressions" (whichever was it). Lol Serbian just blurted a "Hi Bitch" which was damn funny. Had to control my laughter and look professional lol. We took a group photo after that but haha I haven't got the pics from the peeps. Only have 2 pics here.

Anyway after the photoshoot we were supposed to turn up for Halloween party in school with Hazel, Serbian and Lester. Went to pick up Pam after school but on our way they left so we changed our minds. Ate with Pam at Dhoby Gaught but I was kinda upset cos I spent a lousy Halloween this year.

But Pam was so sweet. She suggested going to Clarke Quay to party at a pub. Some people there were out of their minds. There was these two guys dressed as a banana and a carrot. Wow scary. But their hot friends were great. These girl dressed as a sexy cop and another had a skirt so short that her ass could be seen. Luckily she had a nice ass so it looks befitting. I guess Hazel's right. Halloween is the only time a girl can dress all slutty. Lol.

At the pub we gulped down a concoction of some sort and totally got high (nope it was alcohol not drugs lol). The pub had a DJ and there was alot of space. We danced and raved with all the Caucasians and it was fun. This girl is totally crazy. She can dance and her moves were like wow. I think she totally owned the Caucasians. You are totally the dancing queen girl haha. But thanks for cheering me up with a party. YOU SAVED MY HALLOWEEN! Sorry that you missed your train but I think it was worth it ;)

Celebrated Jiaping's birthday on Sat with Mandl, Jovian and Bryce. Lol Bryce is damn funny. Seriously I declare on my blog that Bryce is a totally awesome guy to be with. I'm not gay (Duh look at the chicks around me) but he's really a funny guy. His gf gonna be really lucky next time. Haha he has the gift of making people laugh. Anyway we surprised Jiaping with a cake and had Ajisen. Lol after the celebration we had a treat from a Bboy group from Korea and they were good, though not as good as Gamblerz. Haha but the guy could do quite a number of flares, for Singapore standard quite ok already lol.

It's fast really. Monday of 4th week already. Dad is still bugging me about the portrait that I sorta promised to draw for church stuff. Lol don't know how to tell him I don't like to draw under stress. Counter-productive. Anyway lots happened recently , I grew up and BAM! The world needs me. Lol ok abit exaggerating but when you're a mature 20 year old, you'll get me. Good luck to Jov on your plan. Elo my brother!

HSM is great! And is Lara Croft sexy or what?

I had a really fruitful day today. I've been devoting alot of my time to self-improvement and increasing my skills. Having an Iphone has open up the possibilities of learning all day long as I can read my documents and watch my videos whenever I want to.

Went out with Jovian today to watch High School Musical 3 at Bishan!

We got owned when we entered the cinema. We were all surrounded by kids lol. A mum looked at us and jokingly asked :" I think all of them are too young for this."

Lol I said: "No I think we're too old." Haha were we owned...

Anyway HSM 3 was a blast! Ok ok don't shoot me but whenever I look at Vanessa Hudgens I think of Pamela. Looks like I got my answer. Anyway the movie was fabulous and it really got me thinking about all the things I should do before we reach senior year ourselves. I've still got alot to do with my friends. Graduation is essentially a joyous and yet sad occasion as we will all be going separate ways. But we're lucky, at least we are not going to different states ;) Yeah we are all in this together :)

After the movie we had lunch at our favourite S11 chicken rice hangout. Gave Jov a little more insight on his love life but obviously I said a little too much. He has been thinking about it and his mind is bugging him all day now. Lol poor jov but you know what to do. You're the man haha!

We went to Marina Square afterwards for the X08 convention. The best place to buy a game for Xbox gamers. Boy were we owned there. Not by games,

Meet Alison Carrol, the newest Tomb Raider joining the ranks of Angelina Jolie in the newest Tomb Raider series: "Tomb Raider Underground".

This morning's program plus meeting Alison Carrol real life was a big insight. I was not blown away by the fact that she was hot but it was something else. The scale has just increased. I guess that's bad news for all women. I think only Jov and Bryce know what I'm talking about lol. Good stuff.

Lara Croft is more that a character of a game. Just like James Bond is the sex symbol of all men, Lara Croft is the sex symbol of all women. Modern active women inspire and relate to her like no other modern women in history. Therefore choosing a suitable candidate to bring Lara to life was an extreme process.

Hundreds of women were tested in all kinds of skills be it martial arts, flexibility and gymnastics. In the end, Alison Carroll, a 23 year old gymnast and receptionist from Croydon, UK, was selected.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION (SUPER BELATED POST! :))

Sorry for the long awaited update. God knows how busy I am these days. My schedule is so packed that sometimes I don't even have the time to pick up phone calls and stuff.

Anyways today's post is a super delayed one. Nevertheless I still feel like blogging about it cos I felt really happy that day.

The day started with me woking up a little out of schedule. Yes I woke up a little late. Nevertheless I still managed to get all the stuff I needed to get. Hit the doorbell of Pammy's house. She was elated to see me and woah what a surprise I had for her. A birthday cake with two big candles on it and a bouquet of roses. Yeah I know the cake is small but the thought counts. Actually this year everything was pretty rush but I luckily Lady Luck's on my side. HAPPY HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY!


After the morning surprise, we went to Bedok to have a hearty breakfast. Lol as long as you put as two together, you will definitely get lots of food. We ate curry chicken noodles and duck rice. The weather seems a little threatening though and I was worried about my plans in East Coast. Once again Lady Luck was on my side and the skies cleared after we finished breakfast. Took a bus over to East Coast park and cycled till the sun set :)

Unfortunately as we were cycling halfway, Pammy claimed that she lost her bus pass. It was quite a major mayhem. We rushed all the way back only to find her card in the locker. Lol... You are so damn cute. I told you it's in the locker already don't believe lol. Took some pics of the sunset there on the way :)



After showering, we took a cab down to Popeye at Sg Flyer for dinner. Popeye totally owns KFC man.... And that Strawberry jam. Yum yum!

After the meal, of course it was time for a Sg Flyer ride. She was like so surprised when I showed her the tickets. Lol. Of course everything is planned ok! Ah Ha!


Sg flyer ride is damn romantic at night. Being at the top of Singapore was exhilarating. I want to thank those people that put this fantastic idea into this brilliant head of mine. Being at the highest point of Singapore with your special one is definitely one of the best things in life. The silence at the top, just you and your loved one alone, without any interference from anyone else in the world, is priceless.

Just before we reached the highest point of the ride, I gave her bdae present to her. It was just what she always wanted. Many thanks to Chris and Jov. You guys made it possible. Lol yeah she loved the bikini :)


After the ride was over (I wished it never end, 30 mins seems so fast), we went down to the trail just below the Flyer. All I can say is I always have a good time with her and she always makes things seem special. That's something she can do and other gals can't. Though time was short, I'm glad we made every moment count. Thanks Pammy ;)

Went out with Pammy again the next day to do some shopping for her chalet. Haha taught her all the ABCs of barbecue and stuff. We had a hard time picking the cake for her bdae celebration in the chalet and we actually bought some cakes to try. I think it was crazy haha! Luckily we didn't have to try all the cakes. In the end I decided we should buy the Choc Banana cake and it turned out great! Yeah see great judgement haha! By the time we finished all the shopping it was already 10. We then went to some chinese restaurant to eat. I thought they served great Siew Mai but I was wrong haha. Their pork rib oso suck. The only thing that was nice was the Eel Porridge. Haha but nevertheless, I'm still glad that we had a simple dinner together.

Lastly, I wanna thank Chris and Jov. You guys are the best lol. Thanks for sweating your asses out and walking with me to and fro to find the ideal bdae present. And thanks for all your comments and suggestions, and for saving my pocket as well. Haha I treat you all meal as promised already arh so next time must help me more lol.

I think many get the terms of romance, attraction and love very wrong.

For most cases, attraction takes place first, followed by love or romance.

Funny how people around me are all skipping phases and failing miserably.

Ok don't call be a bastard for not helping. I know I know, everytime you guys ask me, I don't answer. Since I'm in a good mood today cos I'm meeting Kitten tommorow, I'll give you an answer to your so called ultimate question. Ready?

The thing is, it doesn't make sense to skip phases. If you display expressions of affection before attraction, you scare the hell out of a woman. Most guys don't realise that. Can you imagine that? Put yourself in the shoes of the woman. This guy whom you don't even know well says he likes you and start going all over you.

Haha funny when you look it that way eh?

I feel evil now so I will analyze another one which I heard ever so long ago. "I will buy you chocolate and flowers. Will you go out with me?"

This one is an example my friend got from some random guy. Can't even remember his name.

I think the real thing he is actually telling my friend is:

"I think I'm not attractive or worthy enough to get your attention or go out with you. So I must buy you things to get your attention, in the hope of covering up the fact of how inconfident I am of myself, to go out with you my Goddess."

Pure bullshit.

I know at this point alot of my friends would start to bring out past examples from their relationships that this actually worked. But they missed out a very very important point.

It only worked because both the woman and the man were already attracted to one another. Any signs of affection or specialty would be given the green light as long as they are not too overly extravagant about it.

To do special things for another person who is not attracted to you, and you are doing it because you like that person is, in my opinion, is wrong.

It's like you offering your best self for a motive.

I think the best way is to be yourself. If you offer your best self, make it sincere and not because you want something out of it. If you do, most likely your gift will be appreciated.

Time for personal life time.

Firstly I wanna declare a public apology to my ELO BROTHER - Mr. Jovian Chan because I missed 6 of his calls last saturday. We were suppose to go for lunch but I overslept because of Dungeon Sieging through the night. Sorry bro. Treat you lunch the next time round. ELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope we don't get B-men job for TEP lol. It would be retribution if we are both in Inventory Management LOL!

Work is now an obsession. I work almost everyday. It's tiring but I've fun people working with me so it eases the load. However, I'm ain't gonna be a damn CCC ever again in the future.

I've decided to get that damn Iphone. I just can't resist it.

School is gonna start soon. TEP in school would be like going home. School is like my second home, where all my old time buddies are and where the grass is really greener. Gotta work harder for next sem so that I secure my spot in SMU. Heh heh ;)

I got pwned today.

Serious. I just knew I got punked by my colleagues. I got a warning message a few days ago from Starhub and here's how it goes:

I was late for work that day and I thought I got in major trouble big time. I was also a little pissed because I treat my job seriously and geez it was only the third day of me being a CCC.

Apparently this message was crafted out by Marcus and gang. Wth. Hey you guys totally got me.

And it seems that the mastermind behind this operation is Shufei herself. Ok lol you guys got me! Seriously, I got pwned. Damn haha. But it was really funny.

Back at home, I got pwned too. If there was a Coolest Mum award, it would defintely go to my mum.

My Mum is not any regular housewife. She's my friend and yeah she behaves in alot of ways like me.

I got my wicked tongue from her.

Well thing is there was this fat asshole with his brother walking on the street. He sees my mum with my bro and he comes up to her and asks:

"Hey auntie. How come your son so black?"

That was fucking racist. Well bad luck for him, cos he met my Mum. Anyway my bro looks more chinese than me. I have no idea why he asked that. Crazy bastard.

My mum just gave him a smile and asked:

Crappy Policies

Today's work was crap, as usual. I'm used to the job cos it's easy but getting paid to take so little calls a day is a little demeaning. I'm a man who only want to get what I due deserve.

Seriously I think the company's customer policy sux big time. They better pray I don't work for their comepetitors next time. The way I see it, even though they are in a monopoly now, it is gonna collapse sooner or later. They are leaving their most important customer touch point open. The customer service center is not correlated closely to the other departments and escalations take forever to get back to.

The worse thing is, performance get measured in number of calls per minute and not the quality of the calls. Cummon! Which dumbass does that? The porno chatline only probably. Customers call in to get their problems solved. If we take that much calls a day, probably the quality of the calls are not there. When I find myself adhering to the call standards, I don't see the quality of my calls there. It's funny really. Having a customer call centre just for the customer to rant but not solve their problems effectively and efficiently. And their performance appraisal is a little screwed. I've seen other company's appraisals and they are so much better than my company's.

Well heck. I've said my piece to my superiors and if they don't listen then it's their problem. Haha ok alot of people is gonna bullshit me for this one. I'm a genius at this kinda stuff. The way they do business, it's gonna offend alot of customers. They are focusing on erecting high switching barriers for customers and not focused on retenting customers. That's why monopoly is dangerous. In my opinion, the Singapore Government should strike off their exclusitivity and get the other companies to compete with them.

Btw of course a genius like me have already come out with solutions to their problems. However with only $9 per hour pay, I don't feel obliged to feedback. Even if I do, they will not listen. Lol.

I really feel like blogging about what happened this wednesday. But I'm too tired. Gonna sleep now. Tommorrow then blog bout it.
